General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

Christiane Öttl – Conflict Management, Mediation, Coaching

§ 1 – Remuneration and additional costs
All fees are subject to applicable VAT. Upon prior agreement, travel expenses (€0.80 per km), accommodation costs, and other expenses (e.g., for conference rooms, materials) will be invoiced separately. For travel times exceeding four hours (one way), an additional half-day rate will be charged.

§ 2 – Confidentiality
The contracting parties undertake to treat all information that they become aware of during the collaboration and that is not publicly accessible as confidential. This obligation continues even after the collaboration has ended. For formats with anonymized feedback, the evaluation is carried out in such a way that it cannot be traced back to individual participants. If a theoretical classification is possible due to small groups, explicit attention will be paid to maintaining anonymity. Participation is voluntary. Personal statements will not be stored.

§ 3 – Use of methods and materials
The methods, concepts and materials developed or used by Christiane Öttl may only be passed on to third parties or used in any other way with the prior written consent of Christiane Öttl.

§ 4 – Termination of cooperation
Either party may terminate the contract at any time for good cause, with immediate effect, or otherwise with 14 days' notice. Services rendered up to that point will be invoiced accordingly.

§ 5 – Cancellation conditions
If you cancel up to six weeks before the agreed date, there will be no charge.
For cancellations within six weeks to six business days before the appointment, a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed fee will be charged. If the cancellation occurs within five business days before the appointment, the full fee (100%) will be charged. Regardless of the time of cancellation, all preparatory services performed up to that point must be paid in full. Regular cancellation deadlines also apply to short-notice formats. If no timely cancellation is received or if the participant fails to attend, the full fee will be charged.

§ 6 – Conclusion of contract
The contract is concluded by express acceptance of an offer – for example by returning a signed copy or by placing an express order (e.g. by email or telephone) that refers to a specific offer.

§ 7 – Psychosocial and reflexive formats
Reflexive formats with a psychosocial focus serve solely as a means of orientation and development and are not a substitute for psychotherapeutic or medical treatment. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. The provider assumes no liability for emotional reactions, subjective assessments, or resulting follow-up discussions.

§ 8 – Digital services and third-party tools
Digital services may be provided in whole or in part via third-party platforms or tools. No liability is assumed for their technical accessibility, stability, or security. The provider ensures data protection and reliability within reasonable limits.

§ 9 – Test procedures and evaluations
Test procedures are intended solely for voluntary self-reflection and do not constitute scientific diagnostics. Evaluation is based on established models, without any claim to completeness, evaluation, or performance assessment. Data is not stored permanently.

§ 10 – Data protection notice
Christiane Öttl processes personal data in accordance with legal requirements, in particular the GDPR. A detailed privacy policy for the use of the website can be found at www.christianeoettl.de/datenschutz. The following applies to personal data collected as part of direct collaboration: It will only be used for contractually required purposes and will not be shared with third parties.

§ 11 – VAT on cross-border services
For services provided to companies based in another EU member state that have a valid VAT identification number, invoices are issued without VAT under the reverse charge mechanism (Article 196 of the VAT Directive / Section 13b of the German VAT Act). For services provided to private individuals in other EU countries, the service is subject to German VAT unless a statutory exception applies. The contracting parties undertake to provide all information required for tax purposes accurately.

§ 12 – Binding period of the offer
